How do I connect my eBay account?
Open FlipRoute and tap the Settings tab (gear icon in the bottom-right). Tap "Connect eBay Account" and follow the secure OAuth login flow. You'll be redirected to eBay to authorize FlipRoute — we never see your eBay password. Once connected, your token is stored locally on your device.
How does Snap & Identify work?
Tap the camera button on the home screen and point your phone at any item. FlipRoute sends the photo to an AI vision model that identifies the item — brand, model, category — then automatically pulls live eBay sold listings to estimate its value. Photos are not stored after the identification is complete.
How do I publish a listing to eBay?
From your Inventory screen, tap any item and select "List on eBay". FlipRoute pre-fills a title, description, category, and price based on your item data and eBay comps. Review and edit the listing, then tap "Publish". The listing goes live on your eBay account instantly.
Can I use FlipRoute without an eBay account?
Yes! You can use Snap & Identify and Route Builder without connecting eBay. eBay pricing data is pulled via FlipRoute's backend — you only need to link your account when you want to publish listings directly.
Where is my inventory data stored?
All inventory data is stored locally on your device. FlipRoute does not sync your inventory to the cloud. If you delete the app, your inventory will be lost — we recommend regularly exporting your data (export feature coming soon).
How does route building work?
Tap "Route" in the main navigation and add thrift stores, estate sales, or any stops you want to visit. FlipRoute orders your stops to minimize drive time using real-time traffic data and generates a turn-by-turn route you can follow from the app.
Is FlipRoute available on Android?
FlipRoute is currently iOS only. Android support is on our roadmap — follow us for updates.
