FlipRoute AI LLC ("FlipRoute", "we", "us") operates the FlipRoute Batch web platform and FlipRoute iOS app (collectively, "the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
We take privacy seriously. We collect only what we need to operate the Service, and we do not sell your personal data.

3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and operate the FlipRoute Service
- Publish eBay listings on your behalf using your authorized credentials
- Generate AI-assisted listing titles and descriptions
- Process subscription payments and wallet top-ups
- Send transactional emails (receipts, account notices)
- Provide customer support
- Improve and debug the Service
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We work with the following third parties to operate the Service:
- eBay — Listing publication via eBay's Inventory and Trading APIs. Your eBay OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only to act on your explicit instructions.
- Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe stores your payment method; we store only a customer ID and subscription status.
- Cloudinary — Cloud storage and CDN delivery for product photos you upload.
- OpenAI — AI-generated listing descriptions (GPT-4o-mini). Photos and listing data may be sent to OpenAI's API for processing.
- Google Books API — ISBN lookups for Books and Textbooks categories.
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data handling practices.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the EU (Hetzner, Helsinki/Falkenstein). We use HTTPS for all data in transit, and access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Product photos are stored on Cloudinary's CDN. eBay tokens are stored encrypted in our database. We apply industry-standard security practices, but no system is 100% secure — use a strong password and protect your account credentials.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance (e.g., billing records).
Product photos stored on Cloudinary may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion from our system due to CDN caching.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Revoke eBay OAuth access at any time from your eBay account settings
- Export your listing data (contact support)

8. Cookies
The FlipRoute Batch app uses session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics scripts. The landing page (fliproute.ai) does not use any cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
