Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Overview
FlipRoute ("we", "our", or "the app") is a reseller productivity app for iOS. We built FlipRoute with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Data We Collect
- 📸Item Photos— When you use the Snap & Identify feature, photos are sent to our identification service for analysis. Photos are not stored on our servers after the request is complete.
- 🔑eBay Account (OAuth Token) — If you connect your eBay account, your OAuth access token is stored locally on your device only. We never transmit or store your eBay credentials on our servers.
- 📦Inventory Data — All inventory you create in FlipRoute (items, descriptions, prices, notes) is stored locally on your device. We do not sync or backup inventory to our servers.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- We do not track your location beyond what you explicitly provide for route planning
- We do not use advertising SDKs or sell data to third parties
- We do not share your data with any third party except as required by law
eBay Integration
FlipRoute connects to eBay's platform via the official eBay Developer API. When you authorize eBay access, FlipRoute uses your OAuth token solely to retrieve pricing data and publish listings on your behalf. We do not access your eBay account for any other purpose.
Third-Party Services
FlipRoute uses the following third-party services to power core features:
- eBay Developer API — for item pricing and listing
- AI vision service — for item identification (photos not retained)
- Apple Maps / routing APIs — for route planning
Each service is governed by their own privacy policies. We only transmit the minimum data required for each feature to function.
Children's Privacy
FlipRoute is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via the App Store release notes.
